Why are you living the life you are living?
There is a difference between a life that happens to you and a life you choose. Most people cannot tell you when they stopped choosing. It happened slowly. One reasonable decision after another. Until the life they are living is no one's decision at all.
Somewhere along the way, you traded the question for the answer. You learned what to do with your days. You stopped asking whether you should.
What would it look like to stop? Not to quit. To stop. To be still long enough to hear what you actually think. To ask yourself, with no one watching, whether this is the life you would choose if you were choosing today.
This is that moment. A place to breathe. To question. Not to be told what to do or who to be, but to remember what you already know and have been too busy to hear.
I commit to looking. I know I will flinch. When I do, I will look again.
